Should I disconnect modem in a safe regime (as is required for USB devices)?

You can disconnect it right away, without using the safe disconnection options, when:

• your connection to the network is stable;
• in the network search mode, connection mode and modem-not-found mode;
• in any other mode, if you are not determining a location, nothing is being installed or updated.

You CANNOT disconnect your modem when:

• the FreshTel software is being installed or removed;
• the system is defining connected devices;
• the system is installing or updating a driver;
• FreshTel software is being updated.
